North Carolina residents expect their homes to be places where they can feel safe, secure and have a sense of privacy. This is a common scenario for those in North Carolina who are suspected of possessing drugs. Suspects arrested on drug charges
Recently in Winston-Salem, several people were arrested and hit with drug charges after police searched a home. The incident happened just before 6 p.m. on North Patterson Avenue. Reports said officers executed a search warrant, entered the home and located drugs and drug paraphernalia.
According to police reports, a total of five people were arrested. Reportedly, three of those arrested were charged with selling and possession of illegal drugs, as well as other charges. One suspect was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and another person was already wanted for violating probation.
